George Henry Wilson Jr.

George Wilson, Jr., 63, of College Station, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Bryan. Visitation will begin at 10am, with the Life Tribute Celebration at 11am, Friday, February 3, 2023, at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center in Bryan. Interment will be in Rest Ever Memorial Park. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

On, September 17, 1959 in Bryan, Texas, the Almighty God planted a flower & a baby boy was born to George Henry & Eva Mae Wilson.

George Jr. loved being mechanic, fisherman, hunter & telling stories of his life adventures. He loved training animals & riding horses. He enjoyed having a good time with his family, Many jokes & laughter ensued. The nickname “Champ” came from a confrontation with a cousin, but no matter what, he still loved his family.

George Henry Wilson Jr. married Bridget Cawthorne, and to this union was born two boys, George Henry Wilson Jr. IlI & Broderick Keith Wilson. In a separate union two girls were born, Margo & Morgan Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father George H. Wilson Sr., his mother Eva Mae Martin, & siblings Edward Harris, Georgia Lewis & Patrick Wilson

He leaves to cherish his memory Laporcha Kato (daughter), grandchildren, and siblings Evelyn Nutall, Elesebeth Kearney, Barbara Collins, Debra Wilson, Jacqueline Wilson, Roland Wilson Sr., & Milton Wilson Sr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
