Fritz Born Jr.

Fritz William Born Jr. was born September 17, 1953 to Fritz William Born Sr. and Nettie Mae. Born in Houston, TX. Fritz passed away on November 26, 2022 in Bryan, TX after a short illness. In his twenties, he was married for a brief time to Patty Gail. Fritz resided in Houston, TX the majority of his life where he was a laborer for many years. He also resided for a brief time in Flynn, TX with his grandparents, Braden and Clara Speer. During his time in Flynn, he attended Normangee High School.

For the last ten years, Fritz has been surrounded by his family who loved and cherished him. In his later years, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved socializing, listening to the oldies, sitting in the sunshine, and taking long walks with the dogs. He never knew a stranger and loved his family fiercely, always wanting to lend a helping hand any way he could.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Braden and Clara Speer of Flynn, TX and Benedict Katherina Born of Houston, TX. His parents, Fritz William Born Sr. and Nettie Mae Bellows and his two brothers, Michael Chapman and David Speer. Fritz is survived by his brother, Ben Born and his wife Vicki of Muskogee, OK. His two sisters, Renee Francis of Houston, TX and Rebecca Bellows Atkinson and her husband Tony Atkinson of Normangee, TX. Nephews Billy Born and wife Stephanie of Washington State, Johnny Gomez Jr. of Houston, TX, Jesse Villareal and wife Sara of Huntsville, TX, Davin Oxford of Bryan, TX, and Dylan Oxford of Bryan, TX. Nieces Tina Coudrain of Wisconsin, Kate Born of Beaumont, TX, Dava Oxford of Oklahoma City, OK, Justina Gomez of Houston, TX, Theresa Gomez of Houston, TX, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Fritz will truly be missed and never forgotten. We love you, Fritzy.
