Francisco Moreno Jr (Frank) was born July 20, 1953 in Wheelock, Texas to Pauline Cruz and Frank Moreno and passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 71. Later on they moved to Bryan, Texas where he grew up and attended Stephen F. Austin High School where he met the love of his life Irene Moreno and got married in 1971 and had 2 beautiful children. He was a strong believer and made sure his family was too no matter the circumstances. Frank worked for Coca Cola for many years and then worked in the oil fields. He also became a land surveyor and got a chance to work for his brother in law Alfred Sr. at Ace Pest Control. He was such a hard worker he liked to keep busy. In his younger years he loved being outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing and he made sure to have his famous tea brewing in the sun. Not to mention he loved to cook. Frank always cared and helped others, even any furry friends. He loved his family and fur babies sugar bear and spike so much. Also, had joy feeding the birds and he even would take care of stray kitties, he just had a heart of gold. He cherished and lived a simple life and that included his sweets. Frank was preceded in death by his mother Pauline, father Frank, sisters Vicki and Olga. Frank is survived by his ex-wife Irene as well as his son Frankie, daughter Sheresa, 4 grandchildren Matthew, AJ, Elizabeth, Annalise, sister Shirley, brother in law Alfred Sr, niece Nikki, nephews Frankie, Roy and many family members and friends. God guided Frank, he fought till his final moments, he will be greatly loved and missed and forever in our hearts. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating his life. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 12-1 for visitation and 1-2 for service at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and burial to follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
