Doris Nell Cooper, 80 of Bryan, TX, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:00am, Monday March 24, 2025, at Reliance Baptist Church. Services will be 11:00am- 12 noon inside the church, then burial immediately after service at Reliance Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Brother Ray Marshall.

Doris was born in Elgin, TX on February 20, 1945, to the late Willie Otha (Red) and Dorothy Nell (Conner) Glover. She moved to Bryan, TX at an early age as a child due to allergies from cedar trees located within the Elgin area. She worked as a beautician for several years before starting work at Texas A&M Printing Center. She held this position until 1995 and retired after 15 years of service.

Doris married Erby Cooper on December 23, 1961. She loved going to casinos, enjoyed riding motorcycles with Erby, and singing and dancing. She also loved her rose beds, potting plants and decorating her home. She was a member of Reliance Baptist Church where all her family attended.

She was preceded in death by her husband Erby Cooper, father Willie Otha (Red) Glover, Mother Dorothy Nell (Conner) Glover. Daughter-in-love Cindy Cooper. Grandchildren: Coltyn Cooper and Tina Miskell; Brothers-in-law : Jim Cooper and Milburn Green. Father and mother-in-law Erb Lee and Addie Cooper from Chatham Alabama. Sisters-in-law: Mary Bohanon, Myrtle Dykes and Doris Taylor.

Survivors include son Clint Cooper (Jennifer Salinas), Son Bo Cooper, Daughter Becky Cooper. Grandchildren: Christopher Miskell (Sarah Dooley), Chad (Carl) Rabalais, Brook Cooper, Cody Cooper and Kadin Jones. Great grandchildren: Taylor, Jordan and Kristal Miskell, Greyson, Jadynn and Bryer Cooper. Siblings: Willie Gene (Jan) Glover and Marilyn Green. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Billie Joe (Barbara), Tony (Vickie), Vickie and Rachel and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and special friend Melvin Harris.

Pall bearers will be Randy Glover, Kenny Conner, Billy Joe Green, Billy Wirth, Cody Cooper and Tiger Green.
