Charlotte Chafin Walker

Charlotte Walker passed away peacefully on April 16. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Walker, parents, sister Vera Chafin, brother in law Dean Byrd, son in law Maurice Janac, great grandson Garrett Haney and grandson Garrett Walker. She is survived by sister Jackie, brothers John and Larry, 5
daughters Connie, Barbara, Susan, Jo and Susanne, son James, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Charlotte was also blessed with lots of extended family and friends.
Charlotte was born on September 12, 1936 to John and Hazel Chafin. She grew up in Georgia and Alabama with her sister and brothers. She married Don Jensen after high school in 1955. They traveled around the United States with his Navy postings and were blessed with 4 daughters and a son. After their divorce she meet her late husband Lee Walker in 1981 and she welcomed his daughter into our family.  After Lee’s passing, she moved into Crestview Terrace where she meet many new friends
She enjoyed NCIS, reading, traveling and being with family. She will be greatly missed by all
A memorial service will be held at Crestview Terrace May 20 at 11am.- 12.30.
The family would like to thank all her doctors for their care throughout the years We would also like the staff at CHI St Joseph, CHI St Joseph Manor, and Hospice for their wonderful care.
