Charles Gregory Hipp

Charles Gregory “Greg” Hipp was born on July 13th, 1962 to parents, Charles Rich “Bud” Hipp and Mona Jo McBeth Hipp. Greg died of cancer on December 14th, 2023. He is survived by his son, Jordan Hipp and wife Lauren, his granddaughter Callie Jo, sister Jennifer Jo Wilson and husband Jim, his niece Makenzie Jo Reeves, as well as countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, including his two best friends, Ron Lagrone and Larry Whitfield. A special thanks to neighbor / friend, Bryant Nunn for all the help he gave, especially toward the end.

Greg loved fishing and hunting, gardening and planting trees, canning peppers, tending to his bees and making Hipster Ranch Honey, hanging out with his dogs, Bonnie and Rose, and watching or listening to any Aggie sports, especially the fighting Texas Aggie football team. Kentucky Derby parties were a yearly occurrence and rating fireworks was a favorite at 4th of July and New Years Eve.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, TX. A reception will also be held following the Celebration of Life Service from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Callaway-Jones. All are welcome to come join the family to reminisce and honor Greg.
