Carol Ann was born on December 27, 1953 in Rockdale, Texas to Novice and Pauline (Sawyer) Freeman. She had two proud older brothers, Edwin and Windol (Wimpy). She would later find and marry the love of her life Lawrence J. Regmund on September 5, 1971. They had two sons, Thomas Regmund, Matthew Regmund and his wife Stephanie. They have three grandchildren, Joshua Brewer, Matthew L. and Maegan Regmund. They have one great grandson, Nicholas Brewer. Carol Ann was truly a gift to all of those around her, spreading love and joy everywhere she went. She was the life of the party with her fun and whimsical personality. She loved anything music and became a roller disco queen, dancing the night away. She had the voice of an angel and sang every chance she got. Carol Ann loved to scrapbook and make a number of crafts. She sewed, cooked and baked, and was always behind the camera documenting the lives of those she loved. She had the gift of brightening your day with a simple smile. She worked at Texas A&M Extension Service (TEEX) for 26 years and happily retired in 2007. She was an active member in the Precinct 4 volunteer fire department in the 80s and 90s. She had the urge to help everyone she could and made our lives full of happiness.

Carol Ann is reuniting with her brothers, Ed and Wimpy as well as their parents and grandparents.

We will all miss her more than words could ever express but we are truly grateful for her having blessed our lives. She will forever be in our hearts.

The family would like to extend an enormous thank you to the CCU nurses, doctors and staff who were by her side when we could not be. Thank you for your compassion and care, the continuous phone calls and making her last days filled with comfort. R.J., you are a huge blessing, thank you so much.
