Bo Luna, 43, a lifelong resident of Bryan, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 22, 2023. Bo was born at St. Joseph Hospital on July 29, 1980 to Charlene and Eddie Luna.
Bo’s pride and joy was his company, Luna’s Lawn Service, that he started as a teenager. He was passionate about his customers and the service he provided. He loved ALL equipment made by Bobcat, and was most proud of an article published in 2017 by Bobcat about Luna’s Lawn Service. Bo was never afraid of hard work. You could find him on most weekends doing ranch work on family land in Edge and Millican. He enjoyed feeding his family and friends whether it be frying fish, boiling crawfish, or grilling. Bo never went anywhere in Bryan/ College Station without running into a friend.
In 2014, Bo met Haley Isbell, fell in love and so began their love story. They got married March 21, 2021. Nine short months after their fairy tale wedding, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and began his hard fought battle. He never let it get him down. He was brave, strong, and courageous in his fight and his family couldn’t be more proud of him.
The family would like to give thanks to the numerous caregivers of Brazos Valley Hospice who were a saving grace during Bo’s final days.
Bo was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Sophia Luna and Walter and Theresa Opersteny, along with numerous loving aunts and uncles.
Bo leaves behind his loving wife, Haley Luna and their fur babies, Dixie and Marley. He also leaves behind his parents, Eddie and Charlene Luna as well as his in-laws, Mitch and Keri Isbell. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Matt Luna and wife Becky, sister, Breanne Dixon and husband, Eric. Sisters in law: Brittany Johnson and fiancé Joe, Kristina Ramirez and husband Benny, Summer Horton and husband CJ, along with his brother in law Mitchell Isbell and wife Dayton. Bo was a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was also a loving member of a large extended family and friends who will miss him greatly.
The family will be accepting visitors at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, August 28th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. followed by a rosary at 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 29th from 10:00-11:00 at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by a burial service at Old Bethel Cemetery.
