Billie Downey Williamson, age 89, joyfully joined her husband and soulmate, James Robert (Bob) Williamson, Jr. (4/2006) and their precious daughter, Nicole Williamson Florez (6/2007) in eternal rest on December 11, 2024 in Bryan, Texas.

As per Billie's request, there will be no visitation or formal service. She is to be cremated and her ashes joined with those of her husband. Internment will be private.

Billie was born the eighth of eleven children to William and Vesta Downey in Hamilton Ohio on March 30, 1935. She graduated from Trenton High School in Trenton, Ohio. 

At the beginning of her senior year (9/1952) she married Richard W. Willis, and from that union two children were born, Richard (Rick) W. Willis, Jr. and Melody J. Willis Deboard. This union was dissolved (4/1959).

She moved to Miami, Florida where she met her soulmate Bob, and they were married (5/1962). Two additional children were born of this union, James Robert (Bobby) Williamson, III and NicoleWilliamson Florez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William (Bill) Downey, husband James R. (Bob) Williamson, Jr. (4/2006), daughter Nicole W. Florez (6/2007), brothers James L., Edward H., Robert G. Downey, sisters Agnes Murphy, Pauline Crysel, Geri Bowman, Georgia Dully, and many distant relatives.

Billie leaves behind sons Richard (Rick) W. Willis, Jr. Conroe, Tx, James R. (Bobby) Williamson, III, Bryan, Tx and daughter Melody W. Deboard, Bryan, Tx, sister Betty Jo Weinman, Dillard, Ga., many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews to cherish and remember her as she was in life.

She would like all to know she had a full and rewarding life. Due to the employment of her husband, who was a corporate pilot, she had the opportunity to travel places she could have never visited. This enabled the family to enjoy many adventures including snow skiing every year, hunting and fishing trips, Disney Land and Disney World. Life was great and many many happy memories were shared.
