Antonio (Tony) was born to his parents, Luis and Isabel Huerta Hernandez in Fuente Del Llano, Durango, Mexico, on October 10, 1955.  He married his late wife Elaine Robles and began wonderful life for his family. Antonio was a hard worker and knew the value of gaining the trust of others in life. He and Elaine would raise four children together as their own Yvette, Elizabeth “Lisa”, Linda, and Jeanett. He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. Tony was rough around the edges and hard to get through to, but once you did you had a friend for life. Tony’s family could always depend on him to be there for them. He was a simple man and if you asked him what his greatest accomplishment was, he would tell you it was his children and grandchildren. Whom his world revolved around.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Elaine Hernandez; and his parents; his brother Hermenegildo and wife Martha Hernandez, sister Maria de Jesus Hernandez; and his brother-in-law, Severo Hernandez; and other relatives all precede him in death.

He is survived by his children Yvette and husband Robert Dela Torre, Elizabeth “Lisa” and husband Joshua Garcia, Linda Garcia, and Jeanett Hernandez (his niece whom he raised); his grandchildren Jacqueline Vasquez, Natalie Dela Torre, Robert Anthony Dela Torre, Megan Phelps, Jathynn Bennett, and JaShaun Bennett; his great-granddaughter Lilian Rose King; his siblings and spouses, Josefina and Maurillo Alvarez, Estela Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Jose Guadalupe and Cristina Hernandez, Santiago and Elvira Hernandez; and other relatives.
