Yvonne Rees Hossner was born on July 11, 1936 to Theodore and Dora Rees in Wales, Utah. She was the oldest of four children. She was raised and attended school in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where she had many great memories of growing up in a small town, Yvonne attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. At Utah State she met the love of her life Lloyd Hossner, and they were happily married for 66 years. Yvonne and Lloyd raised their family in College Station, Texas, where she became an avid Aggie fan. She seldom missed a game the Aggies were involved in. Yvonne was a wonderful mother to her three sons, Greg, Layne and Eric. She was a shining example of what a caring mother should be.
Yvonne was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she enjoyed fulfilling many callings within the church.
Yvonne loved her summer home in Red Lodge, Montana where she and Lloyd spent every summer for many years. She’s made many dear friends throughout her time that remained in her life until her passing.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd, College Station, TX; children Greg (Cindy) Hossner, Georgetown, TX; Layne Hossner, College Station, TX; Eric (Camille) Hossner, Rockwall, TX; four grandchildren, Additional survivors include two sisters and one brother, Darlene Myers; Howard Rees; and Jolene Bowman.
Yvonne was a beautiful lady and will be dearly missed for all of those lucky enough to have known her.

Yvonne was a very beautiful and kind lady. I witnessed her love and care for her husband, children and grandchildren. She dressed exquisitely and was a classy lady! She loved her children and grandchildren and never missed a birthday! My condolences and love to her family and loved ones.
Yvonne was a dear friend and will be missed. Always remember are visits to Red Lodge.
My dear Friend I will miss spending Red Lodge summers with you next door. The hummingbirds have arrived and they too will miss you.
You were always my booster claiming I had more attributes than I knew to be true. I admired you classy grace, your smile and chuckle.
