We are sad to announce the passing of William R. Naibert “Wild Bill” of Sherman, TX. He passed at the young age of 63 surrounded by his loved ones. Services will be held this Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at 2pm. They will be at Callaway-Jones in Bryan TX.
He was born in El Paso TX to Edward and Billie Lou Naibert. His father was in the army and retired to Bryan TX, where Bill grew up and went to school. In his younger years he was an active member of the Brazos County Volunteer Fire Department with Precinct 2, where he served as assistant Chief and Captain for many years. He also worked at TEEX Fire Training School. He was currently employed with TD Industries.
He loved riding his Harley, fishing, going to the race track. He never met a stranger and would always be there for anyone. He was an amazing man, friend, dad and grandfather and we will miss him very much. He was taken from far too soon. His infectious laughter, light hearted take on life will always be remembered.
“Wild Bill” was survived by his loving daughter Billie Bevil, her husband Brandon Bevil and their daughter his granddaughter Lainey Bevil. Also by his best friend Gary Hutchinson. His sister Karla, brothers George and Rick and numerous nieces and cousins.
