William Henry Chambers, III, “Hank” to his family and friends, sadly passed away on July 15, 2022, at his home in Bryan, Texas. He died at the age of 67 following an extended and brave battle with Lewy Body Disease. He was a beautiful, kind person who loved to tell a funny story and spread his infectious smile wherever he went.
Hank was predeceased by his father (William Henry Chambers, Jr.), his brother (Donald Eric Chambers), and his beloved daughter (Rachel Elizabeth Chambers).
Hank is survived by his wife of 32 years (Laura Chambers), his mother (Eunice Irene Chambers), two sisters (Karen Ann Chambers and Sally Elizabeth Munson), two sons (William Henry Chambers, IV and Matthew Eric Chambers), two stepsons (Carr James Onstott and Christopher Paul Onstott), two grandsons (Archer Carr Onstott and Barrett Christopher Onstott), and his devoted and loving sister-in-law (Diana Thompson).
Per Hank’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. We invite you to make a donation to the “Lewy Body Disease Association” at lbda.org in his honor, in lieu of sending flowers.

Sorry for your loss. Hank was a wonderful man. We will miss him terribly. Love & prayers to all family members. Cowboy Fellowship of Aggieland will miss his sweet spirit.

I did not have the opportunity to know Hank for long, but I’m grateful to have met him. The devotion shown by Laura and Diana told me that he was greatly loved. The time of his illness was surely hard on Hank, and those who cared for him. You have earned a time of rest. God’s peace and comfort to you all.

Hi Michelle, thank you for your note of comfort. Hank was certainly one-in-a-lifetime and I was privileged to have had him in my life for so many years. I miss him greatly.
We will always cherish the fun times we had at the old OI Christmas parties, with Hank cutting up and making it fun.
Dear Joan and William, thank you for your posting. He and I also have had many fond memories of having fun with you at the old OI parties. Hank in particular remembered how he and William use to sneak outside with your flask during the (boring) speeches. LOL. He is missed by many.
