Dear Parson Family,
I loved Virginia very much. I visited her at Bluebonnet for years and brought my dog, Truffles. She was
a precious lady. We visited last week and Truffles snuggled her in bed. My prayers for your family.
Blessings,
Margaret Durst Godfrey
Love & condolences to the Parsons from the McGills. Our mother Ruth died 2 years ago at age 99. What a beautiful heritage they left us.
Diane and David, My sympathy to you in the passing of your mom. But I am so happy for her as she is now enjoying the joys of Heaven. It’s hard letting a parent go, no matter their age or yours. But you had a wonderful upbringing with a great mom and dad — and that beautiful little sister Barbara.

She was amazing! I started visiting her in her home in 2013 for guidance in how to be a Christian widow. She was a terrific listener. Even through pain and after she needed more assistance with mobility and activities of daily living, she would smile with a twinkle in her eyes and tell me something she was grateful for each day. Even after exchanging her nice home for most of her life for a one room apartment, she looked for things for which to thank God. She sweetly tolerated me showing her my latest photographs of flowers, sunrises, and sunsets. She could name so many wildflowers and plants! She loved all of her family and friends. I will miss her…until we meet again.
