Veronica Debbra Kowis Robles, 68. passed away on January 3, 2023 in Bryan, Texas. She was born on June 19, 1954 in Navasota, Texas to August and Albina Kowis. She attended flight attendant school and was a member of the Flight Attendant Wings in Missouri. She also worked as an operator, a manager of Whataburger, service representative at  Walmart in Navasota, as a custodian at ATM, and as a custodian at College Station CHI St. Joseph. She retired after a back injury from work.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, having political debates with family and friends, and watching her favorite programs. She also loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends. She was very supportive and nurturing to her loved ones. She will truly be missed by all.

Veronica fought vigorously as a heart failure patient and dialysis patient for years. She never gave up on herself or her family. She was loved beyond words and gave all her love in return. She would do anything to help a loved one or family member. She loved dancing with her husband Jose Robles. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Robles; son, Johnny Jose Robles; daughter, Vivian Roman Robles; granddaughters, Desiree Angelica Robles, Makayla Ariana Robles, Makenzie Autumn Rose Robles; siblings, Evelyn Cleghorn, JoAnn Kowis, William Kowis and Charles Kowis; niece, Detra Cleghorn; nephew, Derek Cleghorn and great-nephew, Monty Garney.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life at 11:30 am Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11036 S. State Highway 6 Business, Navasota, TX 77868. Arrangements entrusted to Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Bryan-College Station.
