Timothy Wayne McCulloch passed away from a brief illness at CHI St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 9, 2023, at the age of 62.  He was born on October 31, 1960, to Eddie Hubert McCulloch and Bessie Clara Ray McCulloch and was one of four children.
Tim graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1979.  While in high school, he worked for Alton S. Luther Construction.  Mr. Luther adored Tim and took him under his wings to teach him the basics in construction.  From there, Tim worked for various construction companies including Markel Construction, Pruitt’s Fabrication, Sentry Construction, HEB Construction and Mesa Southwest, to name a few.  Through his various jobs he was able to travel the state and abroad doing the work he loved.  In 1993, he went into business for himself and started McCulloch Mobile Home Movers, and because of Tim’s spirited nature and charm, his business thrived.  In later years he worked for Boss Chemical and was employed lastly as a ranch manager.  He was a member of Millican United Methodist Church of Millican, TX.
Tim was an energetic, skilled tradesman with a strong work ethic whose friends and family could depend on.  When he wasn’t working, he was in his shop, gardening, hunting, fishing, or caring for livestock.
He had an infectious laugh, and you could always count on him to have a good time.  Tim’s best attributes were his big heart and helpful attitude.  His love and admiration for his family, children, dear friends and employer, Mrs. Kathryn Fleming, were unmeasurable.  Tim will be remembered as a witty, fun-loving person with a big heart who loved life, his family, and his many friends.  He will be dearly missed.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Scott, and sister, Linda Gail.  He is survived by family members, Saundra Lyons McCulloch, his younger daughter and son, Jensen, and Tanner McCulloch, his oldest daughter, Kari McCulloch, and grandsons, Linken McCulloch and Revan Littlejohn.  He is also survived by his brother Mark McCulloch, and family, and by extended family of Tommy Lyons.
A private celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

  1. Saundra and Family,

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that your whole family are in my prayers as you go through this difficult time.

  2. My brother and I grew up with Tim and his family. My grandparents were very close to his parents. Tim always had the sweetest temperament and smile. I pray for traveling mercies.

  3. I remember Tim very fondly!!! For a while we rode the bus to & from school at College Hills Elementary. In fact he was my first kiss in 2nd grade!!! And boy did we get in TROUBLE!!! LOL!

Tim was just so very cute all the way through high school. Had a great smile! I had hoped that our class would have another reunion so we could all meet again and share funny stories.

I pray for the family to have peace and comfort. May God hold your broken hearts in His hands.

    With deepest sympathy,
    Lynda Kaye Buck
