Dallas, Texas

College Station, Texas
Stuart Patrick (Pat) Roman (62) died peacefully, albeit unexpectedly, on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Pat was born September 3, 1958, in Dallas, Texas to Dr. William B. and Jo Roman while the family was living in Irving. They relocated to Bryan before his first birthday, and he remained in the area his entire life. He attended Allen Academy and then TSTI, where he completed the plumbing curriculum.
Pat is survived by his wife, Nancy Jean Roman (the love of his life for 42 years), three stepdaughters, Shawna (David) Proctor of Henderson Texas, Kelley (Jay) Oliver of Lufkin, and Casey Jo (Randy Joe) of Zavalla, Texas, and six grandchildren who called him Pat Paw. He is also survived by his stepmother, Jeannette Roman of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one sister, Marcella Winters of Clermont, Florida, four nephews, and one niece. His parents and older brother, Buck, predeceased him.
Pat had an avid love of two things in particular: The Aggies, and rock & roll music. He knew not just every song, but also the name of the vocalist. He was a people person who lived life to the fullest; one of a kind and loved by all.
The service, conducted by Dr. David Proctor, will be held at a future date. Memorial gifts should be directed to Habitat for Humanity.
I remember Pat’s great sense of humor, like his Dad. Dr. Roman delivered our daughter, and we were friends with both Pat and Bucky. May God rest his soul, and perpetual light shine upon him. Our condolences to the entire family.
