Sammy Curtis Cook

Sammy Curtis Cook, age 80, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Sammy was born January 9,
1942 in Crane, Texas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 5-7pm at Callaway Jones Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his parents Loren Curtis Cook and Dorothy Wimberley Cook.
Sam is survived by his loving wife, Faye Wheat Cook; sons Cody Cook and his wife Nicole, Clinton Cook
and his wife Tracie, Gardner Rudasill and his wife Karen, Shawn Rudasill; daughter Michele McNew and
husband JTL Kyle McNew.
He is also survived by nine Grandchildren Ava, Sydney, Izabella, Jernigan, Seth, and Cuore Cook, Janette
McNew Hickerson, Tyler and Joshua Rudasill.
He was also blessed with four Great-grandchildren Maddie and Brayden Hickerson, Rylee and Zoey
Rudasill.
Sam served honorable as a Sgt. 1 st Class in the U.S. Army. He graduated from the West Texas State
