Ricky Joe Palasota, Sr., beloved husband of Elaine, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He died while doing the work he loved at his and Elaine’s home.

Ricky was born December 2, 1957, to parents Joe & Barbara Palasota, in Bryan, Texas. He had a gifted mind and began his own business while still in high school. The Lord blessed him with great success in everything he applied himself to. His business blossomed from one man with a tractor, augur, and mower to a major contractor in the Brazos Valley. Everyone Ricky and Elaine met soon became family. Because he was always lending a helping hand or word of wisdom to encourage others, Ricky was loved and respected by all. Ricky and Elaine met while attending Bryan High School and quickly fell in love. They married May 29, 1976, and raised two children, Ricky Jr. and Emily.

Survivors include Elaine, his wife of 47 years; son Ricky Joe, Jr. and wife Brandy; daughter Emily Ann Palasota and grandson Korban Palasota; his sister Regina South (Mike); brother Robert Palasota (Kim); many siblings-in-love and multiple nieces and nephews.
