Rhina Saybe Pastor
February 24, 1943 ~ January 31, 2022
Born in:
Villa Nuevo , Honduras
Resided in:
College Station, Texas
Rhina Pastor, wife to Jimmy, and mother to James and Erik, went into the loving arms of God on Monday January 31st. Visitation will be from 11 am, until time of her memorial service at 12 noon, Friday, February 11, 2022 both at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.
Rhina was born in Honduras, Central America, raised Catholic, and worked hard to take care of her family after graduating High School. On a trip to NYC to visit her brother, she met and fell in love with James “Jimmy” Pastor in October of 1967. Two years later they married and shortly welcomed two wonderful sons. Their greatest love was family and they moved to College Station, Texas to be closer to her sister. Rhina’s love for her family and friends was evident in everything she did. She had a kind heart, sweet soul, and a beautiful accent when she spoke English. We are grateful and blessed to know her, love her, and have her love in return. She will be remembered every day by those who knew her and missed even more.
Preceding her in death was her father, Rafael Saybe, mother, Bertha Saybe, her brothers, Rafael, Reynaldo, Rigo, Franklin, and sister, Leonor Commandari.
Rhina is survived by her husband, James Pastor, sons, James and Erik with their wives Noel and Sally as well as her brother Jose Reynaldo Saybe.
