Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Darlene, Allen and Charlotte, my sincere sympathy at the sudden passing of Winston. I have very fond memories when Pastor Hold served us in Deanville, St John’s Lutheran. Allen was a youngster and Pastor Hold was serving duel parishes, Deanville and Dime Box. Allen accompanied his mom to all services and was known to say “just too much church”. Setting still for too long wasn’t his thing.

The days ahead, when celebrating happy times will not be the same. As you grieve his passing you can know he is at rest in heaven as a Baptized child of our Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus earned our salvation when He died on the cross. Praise His Holy name I pray for time to heal your broken hearts. Peace, comfort and love to you all. Betty

  2. So sorry to hear of Pastor Hold’s passing. I consider him my main spiritual guide in my youth. May your memories of his well-spent life comfort you.

  3. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, he was my favorite Pastor and always will be. He has held a special place in my heart for many years and will for years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  4. Allen, Charlotte, DeLaina & Darlene,
May the love of Jesus give you peace, love & understanding at this time of your loss.
    Our deepest sympathy & love,
    Leonard & Georgia Fritsche

  5. So sorry for your loss. I have many found memories of attending Bible Camp during the summer followed by many volleyball games played against the churches in the Brenham area. Sorry I never got to see him when he was in deanville. We shared many fun times. May the Peace of God be with the damily
