Patsy Ruth Willoughby Williams

Patsy Ruth Willoughby Williams, 90 of Millican, Texas, formerly of Bryan and Center, Texas, joined her parents George and Thelma Willoughby in heaven on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 8:46 a.m. A brief graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sardis Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas, 2962 FM 414, Center, Texas 75935.

Patsy spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in Center, Texas then later moved to Bryan, Texas where she resided for 37 years. In 1991, she moved to Millican, Texas where she resided permanently.

She was a kind soul and always put the needs of others over those of her own, especially her family. She loved the peace and tranquility of her country home which she and her partner Gene built from scratch. She enjoyed her retirement years by working in her garden, visiting with friends, and cooking for other family members.

Patsy is preceded in death by her spouse Robert J. Williams, parents George and Thelma Willoughby, and niece Kim Ballenger. She is survived by her husband Gene Nichols of Millican, Texas. Stepdaughters Jana Henderson of Conroe, Texas and Jeannice Shiver of Sun Valley, Idaho. Sisters Peggy Ballenger of College Station, Texas and Shirley Willoughby of Center, Texas. Niece Lisa Goings of Blountsville, Alabama, nephews Tim Goings and Tommie Harmel of Houston, Texas, and Darrell Ballenger of College Station, Texas.
