We celebrate this day that Morris has fought the good fight, he has finished his race, he kept the faith (2 Tim 4-7). Memorial services will be held 10:00 am on Saturday Dec 23, 2023 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home (3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). Morris’ remains will be interred at the Houston National Cemetery befitting his veteran status at a later date.

Morris was born in Nashville, TN and raised as an orphan. While enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict, he was adopted by the family of Clyde and Charlette Cox with daughter Sandra Seelig and Roy Cox of Bangs TX. Morris married the love his life, Judy Lou Mullins in 1969 and she was by his side at the time of his passing 54 years later. They lived life to the fullest racing Corvettes, square dancing and showing steers with their son Chad T. Collier. He was proud of his grandson Zachery T. Collier who followed in his footsteps by joining the Navy. He considered Judy’s daughter Trace and her husband Jay Shannon and her children Skyler and Ty as his own. He was also proud to call Chad’s wife Donalyn Collier and her children Dannielle, Demi and Dylan family.

Morris is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Charlette Cox; and his father-in-law Stan Moore.

His legacy lives on through his wife, Judy Collier; son Chad Collier, grandson Zachery Collier, sister Sandra Seelig and her family; Roy Cox and his family, mother-in-law Wanda Moore, and sister- in-law Jonni Hart along with his stepdaughter Trace and her husband Jay Shannon with children Skyler and Ty. His journey was traveled with many beloved friends.

  1. So sorry for your loss. Morris was a man’s man, tough, bold great friend and loving . We had a lot of great times thru our working with Audi. Will miss my friend and our calls. God bless him and God bless Judy , Chad and Zack. I know he was a big part of your lives and he was so proud of you both and always spoke highly of you.
