Resided in: Bryan, Texas

Mitch E. Lovings, 59, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, under the tender loving care of Caprock Hospital. Mitch was born in Miami, Florida on September 18, 1963. Mitch was a wonderful loving husband, dad and papa. His great sense of humor and his compassion for life has created lifelong friendships that will never be forgotten.

The definition of the Lovings family was the telephone business. Mitch and his brothers were taught at an early age by their dad, Richard (Dick) Lovings Sr., who had been in the business all his life. Mitch Lovings took what he had learned and made a life out of it for him and his family.

He was a hardworking man but also a fun-loving dad and grandpa. He spent his free time sharing his sense of humor and arguing with the tv about politics, he had a true American heart.

Mitch Lovings is preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick) Lovings Sr.

He is survived by his wife Vinita Lovings who was the love of his life, as well as his three cherished children: Canyon Mitchell Lovings, Lauren Elizabeth Lovings-Gomez and husband Ruben Gomez, and Nicole Sloan. He leaves behind two beautiful grandchildren: Ashlen Sloan and Mical Sloan; his mother: Janet Lovings; his sister: Sue Salmi; his brothers: Jason Lovings and wife Nelly Lovings, James Lovings and wife Sissy Lovings, and Richard Lovings Jr. Also left to honor his memory are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family requests with gratitude that memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=header-btn-donate-now and select dedicate your gift in honor or memory.

Please come dressed in something patriotic.
