Mary E. Watson

Mary E. Watson, age 70, of Bryan, TX passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, December 10th from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. A celebration of life service will be held at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home on Friday, December 11th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Willow Hole Cemetery at 1:30 PM Friday, December 11th.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated many years to raising her children and grandchildren. In 2002 Mary co-founded Raven Homes and was actively involved in developing and constructing custom homes in the Bryan and College Station area. She cherished the many friendships and business partnerships developed through her business. Mary’s love for Raven Homes was second only to that for her family.

Those who knew Mary found comfort in her God-given ability to find the best in every situation. If a stranger ever had the blessing to cross her path, there is no doubt they would leave feeling important, valued, respected, and blessed with a positive outlook on whatever was discussed. For her family and friends, she not only poured these blessings onto each of us, but she also made sure that everyone felt unique, special, worthy of only the best life can offer, and loved beyond measure.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Glendon Martell Easterling and Mayme Hazle Easterling and brother W.T. “Bill” Easterling.

Mary’s legacy lives on with her daughter, Dawn Marks and husband Anthony, son Jason Gooch and wife Stephanie, granddaughters Chelsey Rasinski and husband Jason, Amanda Hearn and husband Hunter, Lindsey Gooch, grandsons Clay Marks and Steven Gooch, great grandchildren Madison, Natalee, Briar, Blazen and Hagen Raskinski, and numerous nieces and nephews.
