Mary Ann was born in Austin on August 13, 1957 to Juan and Hortensia Martinez Moreno. She was one of seven siblings in her family. Mary had a passion for dancing and attending local band concerts in the area. Mary would meet the love of her life in her late teen years. They met as adventurous kids exploring nature in Bryan’s West Side and together, they would share fifty plus years of friendship and 50 years of marriage. Emilio would leave to serve our county in the US Army but upon his return he married his bride, Mary Ann Moreno. Their family would grow by three beautiful children born in this marriage, Matthew, Justin and Brandy. Mary Ann was gifted with a caring heart; helping her family and friends as she could over the years. She was a great seamstress / tailor for her family as she so loved to sew. Her team mom spirit grew over the years while her children played both baseball and softball. Her legacy spirit will be remembered and shared with her grandchildren. She enjoyed all birthdays and holidays, but Christmas was her most favorite. This Christmas we know our beloved is spending Christmas with Jesus.

Her parents, Juan and Hortensia, precede her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Emilio Lopez; her sons, Matt and wife Victoria Lopez, Justin Lopez and Amanda Villalpando; her daughter, Brandy and husband Ricky Bosquez; her brothers, John and wife Mary Moreno, Martin and wife Eloisa; her sisters, Gloria and husband Albert Rueda, Estella Moreno, Delores and Rodney Janak, and Rachel Moreno; her adored grandchildren, Joshua, Brianna, Mia, Dustin, Ariel, Kylie, Anaiah, and Azaiah; and other relatives and close friends.

Serving as Pallbearers honoring the life of Mary Ann Moreno Lopez are, Nikke Rueda, Michael Cordova, John “Willie” Moreno, Jacob Moreno, Jon Moreno, and Kyle Janak.

  20. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mary Ann was always there when needed, whether it be her job, always ready to help out at the Fannin PTO and doing my last minute alterations. I saw her about a year ago at Walmart and she said hi and was so happy Emilio was out of the hospital and she was heading to the pharmacy so she could bring him home. Emilio was lucky to have such a good caregiver at that time. I will miss seeing her at Walmart but she is free of pain and has made it home to that beautiful place. Mary Helen Sifuentez
