Mark Allen Nabors, 78, of Bryan, Texas, passed away April 8, 2022. Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation from 3pm to 6pm Thursday April 14, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. A Celebration of Life funeral service is set for 10am Friday, April 15, with interment following at Restever Memorial Park Cemetery in Bryan. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers of Bryan College Station.

Mark was born May 22, 1943 in McAllister, Oklahoma, to Alex and Mariam Nabors. He graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas. Mark attended Northwestern Military Police Academy in Chicago, Illinois, and worked for Waukesha-Pearce Industries for 35 years

Mark was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as a military policeman in Germany. He enjoyed working, fishing, playing with grandchildren and great grands, and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Gordon Nabors, his mother, Mariam Henderson Nabors, and his son, Joel Howard Nabors.

Survivors include his loving wife, Hermina McKinzie Nabors; his daughter, Grace Nabors; his son, Craig Nabors; his grandchildren, Todd Joel, Hannah Alexis, Morgin Renee, Jaxon, Jordyn, Joel, Jolie; his great grand, Bentley, Adalynn, Jager, Dennis, Huxley, and Aubree; his brothers, Max Nabors, Mike Nabors, and Monte Nabors; and his sister, Patti Guidry.

I was Mark and Hermina’s pastor for a few years. They were always a blessing to me, my family, and our church. I have many wonderful memories of our time together. Faye and I can’t attend the service, but, our thoughts and prayers are with Hermina and her
family.

My deepest condolences mark was like a father to me these last 13 years , I could not have asked for a better father in law , I have enjoyed every moment we shared, every trip , every conversation, every fish we caught , And all the conversation of Christ and time we spent in the word , He will always hold a dear space in my heart and I know we shall meet again , until then ,,,,,Scott E Noack

To the family of Mark, I want to send my deepest sympathy to you and the family for your loss of a great husband, father, brother, and grandfather. we only knew each other for 3 months, but we were so glad to have you at our facility and was able to help take care of you, and had a chance to meet your beautiful family! You have a AMAZING WIFE! and we are both minas, so we are as force by ourselves!!! Mina never missed a day, even spent a few nights, we all had some good laughs, and cries, happy tears for the most, and it was really a joy!!! we didn’t get a chance to visit the ranch, and let me run with my shoes off around your house, or the other thing we agreed to do lol, but i was still blessed t have met a wonderful family, daughter, Grace, you are amazing as well, and be there for mama sit on the porch and have a cup of coffee and talk good memories to keep you going. When you look at Craig, that is a split image of that “handsome man!” and that will bring you comfort. may God Bless each and every one of you during this hard time, and know that we are all praying for your family, and we love you all to the moon and back.
