Maria attended Bryan schools and graduated from Bryan High School in 1989. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt. She loved giving hugs. She never met a stranger, everyone was her friend. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing whether it was a birthday, wedding, or quince. Maria was always ready to dance. You couldn’t ask Maria what she wanted to eat because it was either Whataburger or Pizza Hut. She loved going to the park, watching her nieces and nephews play ball, and always attended their awards ceremonies at school. Maria loved going to church on Sunday because she would visit with everyone. She had two favorite football teams, Aggies and Cowboys. Her favorite shows were Alice, Walker Texas Ranger, and WWE wrestling (Hulk Hogan). She is preceded by her parents Pete and Beatrice, sister Linda Breeding, brothers Richard and William Garcia. She is survived by brothers Michael (Cheryl), Peter (Rosie) Garcia, several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers and are set for Saturday, September 7, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11 am and her Funeral Service will begin at 12pm, at the Bryan Funeral Center, followed by interment at Mt.
