Lisa Lynn Ward Price was born September 28, 1964 to Gerald and Cleo Ward at Copley Memorial Hospital, Aurora, Illinois. She went to Kindergarten through 3rd Grade in Glen Ellen, Illinois, then grades 4th – 9th in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. In 1979 her family moved to Nassau Bay, Texas, where she finished her last 3 years of high school at Clear Creek High School in League City, TX. She attended Baylor University and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Lisa was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and of P.E.O.

As a child, Lisa enjoyed being with friends and family and in Indian Princesses and Brownies. She was artistically creative and talented in many ways. Lisa loved flowers. When she was a little girl, she enjoyed singing and bringing flowers from the yard to her mother. She loved to dance and especially enjoyed her classes in ballet. In high school she loved being a cheerleader. Growing up she and her family had the pleasure of spending time each summer with her grandparents at their cottage by Lake Michigan. Prior to her marriage, Lisa worked for Paul Harris, American Spirit Insurance Co., CIGNA, and IBM. Lisa was also active in her children’s schools and community including Southlake Green Day, a recycling initiative. She also had a passion for rescuing animals. In her spare time, Lisa’s hobbies were all about design. This showed in her lovely home décor, her volunteer work, and her beautiful handmade Christmas Ornaments to name a few. Lisa was a friend to everyone she met.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Cleo Ward Jones, son Thomas Price, daughter Elizabeth Price, sister Lori Ward Brown and husband Frank Brown, sister Lesli Ward Hurt and husband Peter Hurt, niece Erin Brown Smolczyk and husband Krys Smolczyk, niece Allison Hurt Park and husband Jared Park, and niece Sarah Hurt.
