Lavon Dykes, 68, of Bryan passed away at 3:55am on September 18, 2021 at St Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan.
Born on June 12, 1953 in, Midland, Texas, daughter of the late Raymond and Wiley Bowers. She is married to Charles Avery Dykes Sr and together, they shared years of memories. Lavon is survived by 4 children; Avery Lavelle Dykes, Jennifer Yvon Dykes, Charles Avery Dykes Jr, and Ivery LaRoy Dykes. Lavon is also survived by 4 grand-children.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on September 24, 2021 at the Callaway-Jones Funeral & Cremation Centers 3001 S. College Ave Bryan, TX 77801. The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Craig Anderson, officiating.
Lavon will be laid to rest in at the Dykes family cemetery located at 433 E Avenue A Milano, TX 76556.
