Larry Bean, 62, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the funeral home followed by the Interment at Memorial Cemetery of College Station. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Larry was born to Virgil and Louella Miracle Bean in Monroe, Michigan on June 17, 1959. He moved to Texas in 1979 where he started working in the oil field. He later became a power plant operator at TMPA for 33 years. He loved cars, building model cars, and his favorite sport was NASCAR. He loved spending time with his wife Trish; you could always catch them holding hands watching their favorite soap operas. He loved Christmas time and having his family gatherings. A Christmas tradition was to take Santa pictures with his grandchildren.

Preceding Larry in death are his parents, Virgil and Louella.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Bean; his daughters, Stacy Bean, Stephanie and husband Michael Outland, Lysa and husband Jorge Gonzalez, his son Christopher Janovsky and wife Brittany, Amanda Janovsky and wife Amber Warren-Janovsky; his grandchildren, David, Sean, Seth, and Olivia; his siblings, Allen Bean and companion Debbie Brumley, Ronnie and wife Marlene Bean, Wanda Cook, and Virgil and wife Sharon Bean; and other relatives and close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Brazos Valley Hospice in Memory of Larry Bean.

Larry was the life of the party, so fun and crazy. When he was around you were going to be happy because he would make you smile, and I don’t think he ever meet a stranger. God please wrap your arms around Trish.
