Guestbook

  1. My heart is broken. I am a better person for having known Kim. She was a mentor and a friend. From the messages received from others, she was the same to many. I met Kim 20+ years ago through Texas Business Women (Texas Business and Professional Women). She pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone and supported me there. Her words were well thought out and always truthful. We shared an analytical view of life but with fun times along the way. Kim will be sorely missed. Prayers for comfort and peace for her family and friends.
“You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing.” ~ Charlotte’s Web

  2. I am saddened to learn of Kimberly’s passing.
KImberly was a fun and interesting person to know. During our years serving on the Executive Committee (BPW/TX), Kimberly was always respectful of our positions and she was dedicated to making the organization stronger. She did made it better!
My sincere condolences to Kimberly’s family. I hope you find comfort in knowing that Kimberly did make a difference and she will missed by many.

  3. This is truly sad news. Kim and I were co-workers for many years. Kim was a kind, decent and honest person who I held in the utmost of esteem. We shared many good times together (and a few not-so-nice times). Kim was a person who I am proud to have known and had as a friend. She did leave the world a bit better through her actions. My sincerest condolences to her family.

  4. I am devastated by this untimely passing for Kim. We have been friends and business colleagues for over 30 years and were in the middle of two projects together when I suddenly could not contact her. I have long been aware of her medical issues, and her recent struggles, but had not expected the end was so near. There have not been many people in my professional life who I trusted as completely as I trusted Kim, to be professionally capable at the highest level, judicious in her approach to problem solving and completely aware of all the ramifications of what she found in her research. She was a true peer without peer and I will miss her on many different levels. We are all poorer for her absence from our lives. May the peace that passes all understanding come to rest upon the family and all of us who counted her our friend.

  5. May God bring you peace and strength through this difficult time. I will forever cherish the phone calls I was able to have with Kim in the more recent years. It breaks our hearts that we can’t be there for you, but know we love you very much.

    All our love and prayers,
    Mindy, Justin and Brooklynn Deura

  6. My first introduction to Kim over 20 years ago found us opposing sides of a major issue as members of BPW Texas. However, I grew to respect and admire Kim for being a smart woman and leader, and this transcended to her simply being a genuinely kind person. Kim is a person who made an impression on me that I will always remember. She taught me the power of seeing through our differences to see the person, not the issue. I hope Kim knew the how she impacted so many, and may she feel the love of many now as we lift her upI I wish peace and comfort to her family and friends.
