I have many happy memories of Juanice. She was a strong, feisty, fun friend. She loved her family, had many friends, and was always ready to help others.
Juanice will be missed by many prople.
Dear Jill, Leanne, and family. My heart is breaking for all of you. Your Mother was one of the sweetest people and friends I have ever known. She was always happy, always smiling, whatever the situation. I miss her, and will always love her as a sister-in-Christ.
Juanice will be dearly remembered as time goes by. I spent many wonderful days around her family in Lubbock. Those memories are still vibrant in my heart.
I was Juanita’s (Juanice’s mom’s) first cousin on our mother’s side. Her mother was Irene, the oldest of the five girls and my mother was Lela, the youngest. Juanita was the one in the family that we could count on to know the connections – genealogically – in our family tree, the Beenes.
Juanice was born when I was about six and a half and I loved wagging her around and mothering and playing with her. Unfortunately, we lived quite a distance apart and didn’t see that much of one another in our adult lives.
In 2010, Juanice came for a “girl cousin retreat” in Winnsboro, TX and that was the last time that I was with her in person, but we had talked rather recently and she always was upbeat and a funny, funny gal.
I think she got her sense of humor from her mom, who was always laughing, even through hard times.
I am deeply saddened by her passing, but what a glorious homecoming for Juanice,
in the presence of Christ.
She was such a dear friend. I have missed her in the 10 years since we moved away from Bryan. So sorry to hear of her passing. ❤❤❤
Dear Leanne, Jill and family,
Your Mom and Gran was an amazing woman who loved her family and life itself. I have so many great memories of our get togethers, whether it be for lunch or just coffee. We loved talking politics and always finding something to laugh about. Juanice had such a great sense of humor, a wonderful laugh and a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed. We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love!
We were lucky enough to be neighbors with Juanice. She always had a smile and a wave. She always made time to chat. We will miss her dearly. Our hearts go out to her family. I still look for her whenever I am in my front yard.
