Joshua Daniel Stipe

Joshua Daniel Stipe (Josh), age 19, passed away peacefully in his sleep while in Houston, TX on February 24, 2024 after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.  Josh was born in Bryan, TX on July 31, 2004 to Brian and Julie of College Station, TX.  Josh attended A&M Consolidated High School but due to health issues, graduated from home school.  Josh was a member of the AMCHS Choir while at Consol and truly loved it.  Josh was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of College Station, TX and loved his church family.  Josh was a bright light to everyone that knew him.  Josh loved his family and friends and loved both video and board games.  Movies with friends were some of his best memories.  Having friends and family around him with a good meal, preferably steak, was a perfect day for Josh.  Josh always had a smile and great attitude regardless of what was going on with him.

Josh is survived by his parents, Brian and Julie Stipe, sister Kathleen Stipe, Grandmother Vicki Klinefelter, and all of College Station.  He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Edwina Stipe and Danny Klinefelter.  The family would like to express their heart-felt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for Josh at Texas Children’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in College Station, TX on Friday March 8, 2024.  The visitation will be from 9:30am to 11:00am and the service will be at 11:00am.

Flowers will be appreciated but in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross Youth Group at https://holycrossbcs.org/  or AMCHS Choir at https://www.amchschoir.org/ .
