Humphrey Gordon Jr. was born on March 27, 1955 in Huntsville, Texas to Humphrey Gordon Sr. and Armentha Anderson.

Humphrey, also known as Gordon, went home to be with the Lord, his parents, as well as other relatives and friends on June 3, 2021. The Celebration of Life Service will start at 11:00 am Saturday, June 12 with burial in Bryan City Cemetery afterwards.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a devoted member of Saviors Temple in Bryan, Texas.

Gordon was really close with his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved being outside whether he was mowing the lawn or fishing with friends and family. Gordon was extremely kind and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.

Gordon retired from Texas A&M University and Sam’s Club after being a dedicated employee for many years. He was known to be one of the hardest and most dedicated workers at both places.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories:
Daughter, Rosie Green (John); son, Anthony Foster; Four grandchildren, Kenneth Wells Jr. (Taylor), Kenisha Lewis (Aaron),Keyandra Williford, Anthony Foster Jr., Keyvon Foster, Bernard Foster, and Keelan Johnson; Seven great grandchildren, Kerrie Rose Wells, Kayson Lewis, Easton Lewis, Jayden Kelley, Ja’Necia Cyrus, Amoni Lewis, Josiah Rodriguez; Two brothers, Henry Gordon, Robert Earl Gordon; one sister, Mae Alice; ex wife Cora Gordon as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
