Gavin Liam Olivarez was born in Bryan, Texas and lived a full life in his more than 2 years on earth. In that short time, he touched many lives. His smile would light up any room when he entered; he made many people feel very loved. Things that brought him joy include playing outside, often with his fire truck, and cartoons, especially the Minions.

Gavin’s life will be celebrated on March 11, 2022, public visitation begins at 10:00am, with Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm, at Callaway Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, with Certified Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by many loved ones.

Gavin is the son of Carolynn L. Olivarez and Nicholas Alvarado both of Bryan. Additional survivors include: Maternal Great-Grandfather, Adan Olivarez; Grandfather, Oscar Olivarez; and Grandmother, Elaine Eastep Olivarez all of Bryan. Additional survivors include Brothers and Sisters; Adrian, Brandon, his twin sister Haliyah, Camryn, Drako, Elaysiah, and Fadan. Aunts include Erika Olivarez of Alice and Monique Olivarez of Bryan. Uncles include Frank Eastep, Eloy Olivarez, and Marcial Olivarez, all of Bryan. Cousins include Alyssa, Jerimiah, Isaiah, Michael, Alec, Bryan, Gracen, Damion, and Devon, and more; Paternal Great-Grandmother, Janie Duran; Grandmother, Francis Alvarado; and Grandfather, David Alvarado Sr.; Uncle David Alvarado, all of Bryan.
