I was fortunate to have worked with Dr Engleking at Christus Health for several years. While he reviewed cases that we sent to him, I also considered him a friend, and there were many times that I’d just go in his office, and chat. His encouragement was greatly appreciated.
I also had the great joy and pleasure of working with Dr Engleking at Christus. Dr Engleking was a kind and gentle man, and a great Physician. He always made wise decisions that provided the best care for patients. He always took his lead from Christ and helped guide others to do so also. He loved and cared about his family and spoke of them often. I am so sorry for your loss, I know he will be dearly missed . May God Bless and keep you all.
So sorry to hear of Dr Englekings passing. He was a wonderful doctor for my dad and my mom back in the 80’s at Huguley
So sorry for your loss, Linda. I had the privilege of working with him at Huguley for many years. Learned a lot from him, as he was always willing to teach! Big laugh, Great Doctor. He will be missed.
I had the great pleasure of working with Dr David Engleking at Christus Health. I loved that he was so passionate about passing on his knowledge and wisdom, educating his team. He was compassionate, cared for the those he worked with and served in the health plan and also took time to get to know his team. He didn’t hide behind a desk, he was involved in the health plan and definitely exemplified the core values of Christus- Dignity, Integrity, Excellence, Compassion & Stewardship. My prayers go out to his wife & family during this time, prayers of comfort and peace. May God’s light shine a light upon your path.
This breaks my heart. I had the pleasure of working with Dr E at CHRISTUS when I was the director of medical management . He and I spent a lot of time together . He was the most supportive physician I have ever worked for. He is also one of the few people in this world who called me Allie. I never corrected him. His kindness will not be forgotten . He was not only a wonderful teacher but truly a friend. Rest in Peace. Your work here is done, sir.
Dear Linda, Heather, and David,
We are so very sad about your deep loss. David was an incredible friend, and we cherish the many memories with him, and the laughter he freely shared. We are lifting you all up, and will continue to. Much love to all of you. Soon and very soon.
Dear Linda, Heather and David: Words cannot measure the loss that we all feel at the sudden death of Dave, He was such a good doctor and friend and I enjoyed working with him. I thought he was one of the smartest men I knew and handsome too. Some of the nurses I worked with at Huguley would get all excited when they heard him coming down the hall. Blessings to you all during this difficult time.
We were so saddened to hear! We love you both!
Linda, David, Heather,
I am heartbroken over the loss of Dr. Engleking. He was such a great man & helped me & my family so much after my dad passed away. Our family loves you & will be praying for you.
It was an honor for me to work with Dr. Engleking during my time at Huguley. He was an outstanding physician who provided great care in a kind and compassionate manner.
I also appreciated the time we got to spend together on the golf course over the years. I particularly enjoyed playing in the Fort Worth Fire Department golf tournament with him several times. I can remember the warm reception he would get from the firefighters when they would see him. It was clear they respected and appreciated him so much.
As physician and friend Dr Engleking made so many of our lives better!
My deepest condolences to Linda, David, Heather and the entire family
This is very sad news and a great loss. Dr. Engleking took me under his wing shortly after I arrived at Huguley. He was my mentor, my professional partner, and a good friend for the first 13 years of my professional career. I still have practice habits that reflect what Dr. Engleking taught me and benefit me to this day. The world is a better place for having had him in it, and it is a little sadder place now that he has left. Lindy and I extend out deepest sympathies to Linda, Heather, David, and the entire Engleking family.
Dr Engleking touched many people with his smile, kindness and professionalism we all looked up to. I can still hear his voice after all this time. I’m very sorry for this loss to his family and friends. Prayers of comfort for you.
This is such a loss. I worked with Dr Engleking for many years at HUGULEY. He was always calm with great advice. I trusted his words and direction. He valued his profession and cared deeply for patients and his peers. You are all in our prayers.
I have only had the pleasure of knowing Dr. E. for a few weeks since joining Christus Health Plan. It didn’t take nearly that long to figure out that he was a great man who greatly impacted everyone he came into contact with, me included.
On behalf of my family, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Engleking family. May the Lord bless and comfort you in your time of need.

Dr. E was one of my favorite people here at Christus! From the moment met I knew we would be buddies and in fact, we were! He was always joyous and understanding. He always had a positive word to say and a smile for me.
He loved everyone and was loved in return.
I offer my deepest condolences to the Engleking family. His Christus family will miss him very much!

Dr. E was an outstanding individual to meet. We worked together at CHRISTUS during my tenor there, and being able to partner with him was an honor. His knowledge, skillset and ability to speak to you with such professionalism and respectful candor were a few characteristics I admired of him.
I extend my deepest condolences to the family.
