Danny Eugene Carver

Danny (Dan) Eugene Carver, (80), formerly of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Lexington, Texas, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Dan was a well respected horseman and farrier. He spent the latter part of his life enjoying watching Aggie sports, spending time with his grandchildren and loving on his dog, Tig. 

Dan is survived by his three children, Chris (Erin) Kawcak of Fort Collins, CO, Justin (Jasmine) Carver of Grand Junction, CO, and Kailee (Nic) Priem of College Station, TX, and grandchildren, Bradyn and Holdyn Kawcak, Sitori (Jason) Nowlin, Stone, Sawyer and Stockton Carver and Aubrey, Aspen and Asher Priem. He is also survived by his sister, Becky (Bucky) Graham, along with his niece Brittany (Jim) Minter. Dan is also survived by his former wives, Rena Carver and Debbie Ruetenik. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Rachel Lynch and Orville Carver, his nephew Brett Graham, and his first wife, Kathy Kawcak.

Dan’s family will host a celebration of life in November to celebrate Dan’s heavenly birthday. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Crazy Horse Memorial in Dan’s name.
