Danny “Dan” Goode, 71, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, in Bryan. Memorial Service honoring his life will begin at 3 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2020, his wedding anniversary date, at Alexander Methodist Church. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Dan was born in Bryan on May 19, 1949 to Royal and Odessa Batson Goode. He would graduate high school and then begin college. He followed his life’s passion of auto repair and would by chance during a repair job met the love of his life, Margaret Lynn Anastasi. She would then become his wife of thirty years and together they welcomed two sons into their little family. Anytime a member of the family or friend was in need of car repairs Dan was always available to help. His other talent that will be missed is his excellent cooking. The wonderful aroma of chicken and dumplings simmering the kitchen. The wonderful vacations spent on various beaches and the incredible mountains will always before ever in our hearts.

His parents, Royal and Odessa precede him in death.

Margaret Goode, his wife; his sons, Aaron and wife Bridget, and Mark Goode; his brother, Erine and wife Beverly Goode; his sisters, Suzzett and husband Tom Laird, and Jeanna and husband Floyd Allen; his two grandchildren, Athena and Anakin; and host of other relatives and friends all survive Danny Mack Goode.
