Christopher Gill, 40 of Hearne passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. Funeral service 2:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2023 at Callaway-Jones.
Christopher Wayne Gill was born September 9, 1983 in Bryan, Texas to Wayne and Lisa Gill. He graduated from Bryan High School in 2002.
Chris was employed by Bryan High School, Bryan Police Department, and McDonald’s. He loved his family, friends, Country and Gospel music, and playing bingo at Brazos Bingo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Virgie Gill and Alfred & Mary Anne Hancock; nieces, Alexis Faith and Corra.
Chris is survived by his mother Lisa McGehee; father Wayne Gill and wife Debbie; sisters, Courtney Hancock, Teresa Gill, and Jo Lydia Gill; nieces, Payton, Kiera, Paige, and Kalysto.

Dear Debbie, Wayne and Jo. So very sorry to hear about Christopher. I know you will have many many memories of him as you were always together. He loved you dearly, Debbie as you were his mom in every way. You raised him and loved him and I know he is forever grateful. Know I am thinking of you and sending heartfelt thoughts during this unbelievable loss.

Bubba this doesn’t seem real you are my best friend and I am truly going to miss all the times we spent together especially when Im off work running you around to do errands and having you here making me laugh and picking on me. I know you’re happy and whole again but know you were truly loved down here!
Debbie, my heart aches for you and your family. I just couldn’t believe when I heard about Chris. Just know that you were the best mom to Chris and that I know he was so grateful for your love and care. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers, and my mom sends her condolences also.

I met Chris through going live with Bella fizz and then through our group we call the village . He was always so sweet and funny and would always try to make you smile or laugh.
Chris was truly appreciated and care for. He showed so much love for the special needs students at Bryan High. He will be missed.
Chris you will be dearly miss, you touched so many lives with happiness, caring, and just being a good person, I am blessed to have had the privilege of knowing you. Sending prayers and condolences to the family

I met you when you were barely out of high school and watched you grow up into a fine gentleman. I have always been proud to call you my dear friend. I met Chris when we both worked at Brtan High School. He was one of my favorite people there, and I know he will be missed by many.
All the good laughs and times we all had in high school and at family gatherings…the times you chaded me down hallways to get to class..memories that won’t ever fade my friend ….R.I.P CHRISTOPHER GILL YOU WILL FOREVER MISSED …KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR US ALL AND WE WILL SEE YA ON THE OTHERSIDE
