Cheryl Ann Quinn, 59, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Cheryl was born on November 6, 1961 on Ft. Riley, Kansas to James and Bonnie (Blair) Wiley. Both her father and her husband were in the military, so Cheryl traveled extensively throughout her childhood and early adult years. She married Raymond Quinn on February 16th, 1985 in St. Robert, Missouri.
Their family moved to Bryan, Texas when her husband left the military. Cheryl worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Humana Hospital for two years before moving to Baylor Scott & White as a pediatric nurse for 23 years.
Cheryl was an excellent cook and loved sharing her baked goods with friends, family, and co-workers. She loved animals, traveling with friends and family, and spending time with her much loved grandchildren. One of her favorite vacation spots was Disney World and she loved to take family and friends for their first Disney experience.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Kubichek (John) and Caitlin Quinn (Robert Hartman); sister, Kathy Henry, brothers-in-law, David (Karen) Quinn, Mark (Kari) Quinn; sister-in-law, Karen (Lenny) Laiacona; grandchildren, Raylen Kate Kubichek, Layne Aaron Kubichek, and John Easton Kubichek; and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Quinn, Jr.; her parents, James and Bonnie Wiley; and sisters, Nancy Wiley and Deborah Seago.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Cheryl with a donation to Camp Dreamcatcher, a summer camp experience for pediatric cancer patients and their siblings through Baylor Scott and White. https://www.bswhealth.com/mclane-childrens/programs/camp-dreamcatcher
