Charles “Charlie” Robertson, 90 of College Station passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
Charles (Charlie) Lawson Robertson was born May 28, 1932, to Paul M. and Rosalie Brown Robertson in Brownfield, TX. He graduated from Cleburne High School and attended Abilene Christian University. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law and the mother of his children, Shirley A. Douglas Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Shari) of 54 years, his son Charles L. (Chuck) and wife Debbie, his daughter Cheryl D. and husband Doug and grandchildren Donna, David and wife Elaina, Courtney and husband Jonathan, and Blake and wife Lisa. He has been blessed with 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his only sister Barbara Landers and her children, Roberta and husband Bryan and Ralph and wife Lauren.
He was a founding partner of ENSCO, a hazardous waste incineration operation from which he retired in 1986. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling in his RV, on cruises and a trip around the world. He will be missed by many friends and RVers with whom he shared many happy times.
After settling down in the Aggie community and attending as many Aggie sporting events as possible, he served on the Wellborn Water Special Utility District for 23 years and actively supported the local South Brazos Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years. He and his wife are members of the Millican United Methodist Church.
A visitation will be held at Callaway Jones on Monday, May 15th from 5-7. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Langford in College Station at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16th and will also be livestreamed at CallawayJones.com via Charles L. Robertson’s obituary.

Charlie was a special person. So friendly and giving to everyone. He certainly will be missed. Our prayers to the family.
Charlie was a huge part of the RV industry and one of the most significant mentors in my life. His wisdom and kindness made him a special person who was loved by all who knew him. You will be missed my friend.
