Brenda K. Baggs

Brenda was called home early Saturday morning. She leaves behind a family who loved her and a career of service to the sick and ailing. Brenda was born to Jan Colleen Whetstone Baggs Pitts and Jerry Baggs in the summer of 1974.
Brenda lived life on her own terms. She was a loving mother to her children, Tyler Phillips (Bailea), Haley Phillips and Max Lopez and devoted wife to Fernando Lopez III. Brenda was completely devoted to her two young grandsons, Dean and Knox.
As a registered nurse, Brenda cared for patients for nearly three decades. She literally cared for people from birth to graceful passing having worked in almost every aspect of healthcare from obstetrics to hospice care.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Jerry Baggs of Lubbock and Jan Colleen Whetsone Pitts of Odem. Besides her heartbroken children and husband, she leaves behind her brother James Baggs (Jennie) of Bryan, nephews, nieces and a large extended family from south Texas.
