Bill Parks, a lifetime Fightin’ Texas Aggie, class of ‘74, passed on May 27th. Son of Samuel Parks Sr. and Opal Carter. Graduate of La Vega High School, class of 1969. Brother to Sammy Parks and Pam Parks. Married to Delayne Allen 51 years. Daughters Amy Shannon and Lindsay Parks. Three amazing grandkids, Garrett, Riley and Iona. Two “acceptable” son-in-laws Thomas Shannon and Nick Nichols. Honorary son Juan Soto.
As an avid outdoorsman, we know that Bill would prefer a tribute in his name to Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation rather than flowers.
Friends and family are invited to a service honoring his life starting at 10am, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, Callaway Jones, 3001 South College Ave. in Bryan.

Thank You Lindsay for contacting me and letting me know about your Dad’s passing! It was a shock and brought up a lot of old good memories of our friendship through high school with Cooter Bill and Delayne ! Ms. Opal treated me just like a son in her home! I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
