Bill Costea

Bill Costea, 85, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Temple. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Bryan City Cemetery. Services were in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Bill Costea was born on March 4, 1948, in Bucharest, Romania to Gherghina and Gheorghe Costea. In Romania, he qualified in electrical engineering and worked at the Polytechnical Institute in Bucharest.

He came to the United States in 1981 and became a proud American citizen in 1996. He married Eugenia in 1988 and had Elizabeth in 1990. Bill worked to Texas A&M University for twenty-two years and retired from the university.

Bill was a very skilled person, repairing everything around the house and helping other people with his knowledge. He loved to play chess, cards, and computer games. He was always interested in the news regarding current economic, social, and political issues.

He was a wonderful person, as a husband and father, loving and protecting them with all his heart. He treated everyone with respect and dignity.

Bill is survived by his wife, Eugenia; daughter, Elizabeth; his sisters, Rodica and Stella; his nieces Diana and Nadina, who are living overseas.
