In loving memory, Angela “Cookie” Lazarone Scherff went home to be with the Lord on February 7th after an extended period of illness. She was 79 years of age.
Cookie is survived by her daughter Andrea Brewer, grandson Collin Brewer, granddaughter-in-law Emily Brewer, sister Judy Lazarone Rowe, brother-in-law Del Rowe, and nephew Justin Rowe, along with numerous cousins and many close friends.
Born on June 16, 1941, Cookie was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1959 and attended Texas A&M University, studying elementary education. She worked for Verizon for over 30 years, as well as Texas A&M University and First American Bank.
Cookie is now in joyous reunion with her parents Milton Lazarone and Frances “Dotsy” Noto Lazarone, as well as her aunts, uncles, and many lifelong friends. We praise God and are thankful Cookie is in Paradise with the Lord today.
