Nola Louise Sneed

Nola Louise Sneed, 85, of Bryan, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 28, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services cele- brating her life will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Bryan City Cemetery. Louise was born on July 2, 1925, in Kemp, to John and Margaret Vercher. She has been a resident of this area for 40 years, and she was a business owner at Lou’s Fun Shop in downtown Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Vercher; her sisters, Linnie Elliott, Lillian Williams, and Nancy Willis; and a grandchild, Lowell Smith. Louise is survived by her best friend and companion, Charles Rosier, of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Cathy Davidson of Bryan, Ken- neth and Betty Davidson of Col- lege Station; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gerry Smith,of Bryan; step-daughters, Sherry W eissman and Judy Sneed, both of Houston; sister, Katheryn Dorez, of Spring; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.


  1. Nancy & Family…Was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I still remember the good old days when the “gang” would shoot pool at Hickory Hills and at Polly’s. She will truly be missed!!!!! Love Ya..
