Myrtie Elsie Winters

Myrtie McLain Winters has gone to live with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2009. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Willowhole Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Myrtie was blessed with a long and full life. She was born October 14, 1915, in Madison County, Texas. She was married to Paul Henry McLain for 54 years until his death. Several years later she married Willard Winters. After his death, to be closer to family, Myrtie moved to Fredericksburg, Texas, and then in 2005, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas.

Myrtie was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ada Moore, her brothers Finnis F. Moore, W. Jewett Moore, and Doyle P. Moore, her son Billy Jack, and her daughter Wanda Fay Scaggs.

Survivors include her three daughters June Shriver, Nell Maxwell, and Mervel Dittmar. There are 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
