Michael Anthony Holubec, 55, of Austin and formerly of Bryan College Station, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Rest-Ever Memorial Park in Bryan.

Michael was born in Houston to Melton and Beverly Holubec. He was class of 1991 at Texas A-M University and spent the majority of his life living here before moving to Austin in 2001. He also served in the US Army from 1975-1983 before being honorably discharged.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Holubec, of Austin; parents, Melton and Beverly Holubec, of Hereford, TX; son, Christopher Holubec, of Austin; Daughters, Victoria and Hope Holubec; brothers and sisters-in- law, Randy and Jeanne Faulk, of San Antonio, TX, Robert and Susy Loy Holubec, of Wichita, KS; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melody and Fred Abegglen, of College Station, TX, Michelle and Mark Carty, of Amarillo, TX, Martha and Robert Fogelin, of Williamsburg, VA, and Melinda and Bill Shultz, of Albuquerque, NM.
