Mary O’Connell

Mary Beth O’Connell, 60, of Bryan, passed away Friday February 19, 2016 at her home. Mary’s Celebration of Life will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Michael’s Chapel, 2402 S. College Ave. in Bryan. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas. Funeral services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Born November 26, 1955, to Eddie and Mary Johnson, she graduated from Bryan High School and went on to work and retire from Texas A&M University. She was most know for becoming her own seamstress as she preferred to make her own clothes. She enjoyed her bowling league, collecting recipes, and always showed love for her family and especially her cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her brother Billy Wayne Johnson, and her father Eddie Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters, Lindsey Nicole Albright and Christine Victoria O’Connell; mother, Mary Alice Johnson; brothers William Edward Johnson and John Paul Johnson.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, please send donations in Mary’s memory to the charity or organization of your preference.
